I am moving to Cleveland Ohio and need a place to stay for 6 months..?
I am moving to Cleveland, Ohio and need a place to stay for 6 months.. I will be working at Cleveland State University.. I really need a 1 bed room or studio.. I called Edgewater Apts but I heard it's crap.. Does anyone have any suggestions? I move in 2 weeks.. Thanks

Go to Craigslist.com. There are tons of rooms for rent in peoples homes for 300-700 a month,. I would suggest living a half hour away to be safe. I would be really careful where you move in Cleveland. Its a dangerous town.Good luck

It's within walking distance (relatively long walk) during daylight hours, but it's also near a 24/7 RTA Healthline bus rapid station, which also has a station in front of CSU. Other options in the CSU area include the Osborn on Huron Road and Reserve Square. The Osborn (formerly Huron Square) may be preferable to the Statler, but I doubt you can get a 6-month rent. Does Cleveland State have a housing office? If so, they probably could help you with some ideas. You likely would find the apartmentratings.com website useful if you haven't used it already. Obviously, your big problem may be obtaining a six months rental. Enjoy Cleveland! The winter will be nasty if you're not used to it, but you should enjoy spring and early summer.

Of course he would be a huge help! Only problem is what on earth are the Cav's going to offer? Is Garnett a free agent? The Cavs don't even have a #1 pick this year! All they can do is toss money at people and hope a player wants to be the "Pippen" to ride James coattails to a title or too.

He would. Unfortunately, if the Cavs want to make Garnett and LeBron the core, I don't know who else they would have to play, since the T-wolves would probably take the rest of the roster for Garnett....

I think that once Boobie and Sasha get enough experience, that them and Lebron can work wonders on the offensive end. And don't forget the young Shannon Brown who is also going to explode next season. I have faith, and even if this season won't do it, the next one will. You'll see. P.S. And they don't need Garnett, they are a great team as is.

I wouldnt mind seeing Garnett in Cleveland... and i think that the Cavs MIGHT have what it takes to get him in Z and Hughes.... but it would be a difficult trade... They would need Hughes to manipulate Minnesota into believeing he is healthy...

Everyone thinks Garnett that it will be the best combo ever, but I think it won't be too good. First, Garnett's coming of age, so he only has 3-4 good years left in him as his career will go downhill sooner rather than later. So the Cavs should get a younger post man in there to help James because hes sooo young for his skills. The Cavs could offer other teams a series of future picks, Larry Hughes (doesn't fit with LeBron) and Z. I think they need to keep the young players (Gibson, Varejao, Sasha) the Cavs should try to acquire Zach Randolph from the Trail Blazers since with Aldridge and Oden (probably) and Roy, they no longer need Randolph.

States are independent of one another. You'll have to find out what Ohio's requirements are for your job. Sometimes they waive tests if you are licensed elsewhere. And jobs that have to be certified in one state don't necessarily have to be certified in another.
