How do lemon laws work in Cleveland Ohio?
My sister lives in Cleveland and just bought a 1997 Cadillac, the same day she drove it off a lot it over heated and broke down, of course the dealer is giving her a hard time getting her money back, what can she do to push the dealer to get her money back with out retaining a lawyer?

hello hun, here is a Guide for Consumers in Ohio's Lemon laws,... http://www.carlemon.com/lemon/OH_LemonGuide.html And here is the ohio Lemon law statutes, I really hope this helps, good luck! http://www.carlemon.com/lemon/OH_law.html They both look like the same info, or page when you open the links but they aren't, read down a bit further, and like I said good luck!
Answer 2 :
Lemon laws only apply to new vehicles. If your sister's purchase contract was for an "As Is" vehicle, she can only plead with the car dealer. Or have her call Joe Pakonates (sp?) at Channel 5 TV news!
Answer 3 :
used car, no lemon law. she should have had your mechanic look at it before purchase.
Answer 4 :
Dottie R is right she may have to go to the news channels, the last thing the dealer wants is bad news about him on the tv.

About What restaurant would be a good place to work in Cleveland, OH
What restaurant would be a good place to work in Cleveland, OH?
I have to move to Cleveland this summer. I'll probably be living in the Cleveland Heights area. I'm a server in the small town where I live now, making 300 a week. Where in Cleveland could I be a server making at least 400 a week? I'm not real familiar with what places I would be able to make good money.

Answer 1 :
In the Heights, you would make good $ at "Tommy's", "Paninis" or at "The Baracelli Inn"
Answer 2 :
Try to get a job at the Brew Kettle. Make great money there.
Answer 3 :
Im from Cleveland so I am very familiar. There is a area with many restraunts called the flats. Or try the ones near the Indians stadium. These are most seasonal locations for the summer. Good Luck!!
Answer 4 :
you might want to try the brown derby roadhouse..
Answer 5 :
If you have what it takes a Hooter's Girl makes great tips.
Answer 6 :
If you have any experience, try "Fire." Best place on the east side. Actually in Shaker Square, but not far from Cleveland Heights. That is very upscale though. Otherwise, try the Coventry area (including Paninis, Winking Lizard which is A+++, and many others) or the Beachwood/Legacy Village mall area. Both are 5 min drive from anywhere in the heights.
Answer 7 :
Hooters
Answer 8 :
There are plenty of concept and locally owned restaurants in this area that you'll have plenty of employment opportunities. Especially if you're willing to work nights and weekends. Good luck!
